Giuseppe Fonte

It is from my mother that I inherited my pleasure and passion for cooking. In 1977 this passion also became my profession, when I took service as a Chef for one of the leading shipping companies, Costa Armatori.

In 1982 I returned to life on land, where I embarked on a new professional activity, without, however, forgetting my passion,

which I continued to nurture and indulge in privately through private dinner parties with friends.

In 1995, I felt the “call of the kitchen” become stronger than ever, and so – as if “blinded on the road to Damascus” - my life took a new turn as I started working as a Chef, in a private capacity, onboard motor and sailing yachts.
Some of the most prestigious include: Licorne - Spirit of Argentina - Atlantica II - Cedar Sea 2 - Amazon Express - Millefleurs - Ellix Too - Sea Century - Creole - l'Aldebaran Primo.

In order to develop my skills further, I have taken part in many courses with leading cookery schools:

  • E.T.O.I.L.E.
    Advanced Institute of Food Culture, Chioggia (Venice)
  • Lessons in Ligurian, Dietetic, Russian and Kosher cuisines


Now, excited by the prospect of facing new challenges, I wish to find work as a personal Chef, to which I can bring my vast experience consolidated with ship owners of various nationalities and their guests, food enthusiasts who have always appreciated my cuisine (references available: click on testimonials).
